Your pain isn't random. It's patterned.

And patterns can be changed.

Ready to see your pain differently? Start with a free pain Mapping Session. It’s not a test.  It’s a conversation — about the patterns your system has been running, and the structures we can start to build differently.

I work with people who feel stuck in patterns of pain, anxiety, or fatigue that haven’t responded to being figured out.

I know this territory well.
Not just professionally, but personally.

For years, I chased fixes for what I thought of as my “broken self.” I found moments of relief, sometimes significant ones, but nothing that truly shifted the reality I was living inside. Pain always found its way back.

What eventually changed wasn’t another solution. It was the way I understood what was happening.

I stopped seeing pain as a problem to solve and began to recognise it as a habitual process my system was running. A pattern that had been learned, reinforced, and repeated over time. Something that could be interrupted, and then retrained.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach.
It’s responsive, relational, and attuned to what your system is actually ready for.

How this work took shape

I began my professional life working with the body.

I trained as a Body Stress Release practitioner and later in clinical somatic exercise. This work was effective, particularly for acute pain, and it often helped interrupt chronic pain patterns in the short term.

But over time, both in my own body and with clients, I noticed its limits. Relief would come, but the underlying pattern remained. Pain would reorganise itself and return.

That led me to widen the frame.

I studied humanistic counselling at the Gestalt Institute, where the focus moved toward awareness, relationship, and meaning-making. Later, I trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy and began working with Internal Family Systems. Alongside this, I explored consciousness and altered states in both personal and professional contexts.

What shifted wasn’t my respect for the body.
It was my understanding of how pain becomes embedded.

I began to see how persistent pain lives across multiple layers at once. Physiologically, in the nervous system. Emotionally, in protection and threat responses. Psychologically, in the stories and identities that form around long-term symptoms.

Working across these layers made change more reliable, and more likely to last.

Everything I offer now comes from that integration.

How I work

I don’t work by analysing symptoms in isolation, and I don’t push insight for its own sake.

Instead, we slow things down and get specific.

We look at when the pain began and how it may have become embedded over time. We explore this from multiple angles: the body and nervous system, emotional protection and regulation, and the beliefs or identities that have formed around the experience.

Understanding matters here. Not as an intellectual exercise, but as a way of giving the system clarity and orientation.

From there, we work relationally and precisely, paying attention to timing, readiness, and what your system can actually integrate. Change tends to happen when there is enough clarity, enough safety, and enough choice for the pattern to respond differently.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach.
It’s responsive, grounded, and shaped around what your system is genuinely ready for.

What I believe

I don’t believe the body is broken.
And I don’t believe pain is random.

I see pain as patterned. Shaped by repetition, protection, and relationship. Patterns that once made sense, but no longer serve.

Lasting change doesn’t come from trying harder or fixing yourself.
It comes from interrupting old loops and creating enough space for something new to take hold.
